A hand crafted kiridashi whittling/utility knife forged from a steel adjustable wrench
These kiridashi are beveled on one side, and flat on the other. This knife is beveled on the left (when viewed from the spine) and is intended for use in the left hand. Individual units may vary, when multiple knives are available, they will be assigned a letter so you may choose the exact one you'd like. Coin for scale. Price is for one knife. Includes a cork to protect the blade when not in use.

The knives I sell are carbon steel, not stainless. If they have extended exposure to moisture they will rust. Knives should be kept oiled and stored in a dry place. Do not store knives in a leather sheath.
All sizes in the listing titles are approximate overall lengths. For a more detailed overall length, and the blade length, see the individual listing description. If measurements aren't listed (I.E. an item made in batches, with multiple items under one heading) feel free to message me.
Sheaths are only included with knives when specified in the listing. If a sheath is not mentioned, no sheath is included.

I really needed a pair of kiridashi knives with one R hand bevel and one L hand bevel. Didn’t need them too big since I’ll use these primarily for joinery layout in cutting dovetails, mortise, tenon, dado, etc… where in I want to get right up against my reference mark and in timber where my normal marking knives just won’t reach. I have looked far and wide on Etsy for someone selling a right and left with really no good luck until I came across these. It’s neat that they’re repurposed crescent wrench’s, are the right length, and should serve for generations. They’re shopped sharp, but it will be a few months before I can tell how well I think the hardness holds up to honing. I only stropped them as I do all my hand tools; on kangaroo leather with rouge compound. Will update in a few months, but great product thus far!🫡
