A handmade kiridashi whittling/utility knife, forged from a single piece of spring steel, reclaimed from an automotive spring.
These kiridashi are beveled on one side, and flat on the other. This knife is beveled on the right (when viewed from the spine) and is intended for use in the right hand. The hardened and tempered blade has been hand sharpened. Coin for scale.
Includes a cork to protect the blade when not In use.

The knives I sell are carbon steel, not stainless. If they have extended exposure to moisture they will rust. Knives should be kept oiled and stored in a dry place. Do not store knives in a leather sheath.
All sizes in the listing titles are approximate overall lengths. For a more detailed overall length, and the blade length, see the individual listing description. If measurements aren't listed (I.E. an item made in batches, with multiple items under one heading) feel free to message me.
Sheaths are only included with knives when specified in the listing. If a sheath is not mentioned, no sheath is included.

Great craftsmanship and he took the time and effort to sharpen the blade to where you can shave with it right out of the box.

I Accidentally ordered the right handed Kiridashi,when I mean to order a left handed. I contacted these folks immediately, and asked for them to adjust my order accordingly. They did without hesitation. My order arrived 4 days later. Absolutely excellent
