A one of a kind hand forged viking seax knife. Forged from one solid piece of steel taken from a reclaimed leaf spring. The hardened and tempered blade has been hand sharpened and electro-etched with the naked tree maker's mark. The handle has been wrapped in a split leather strap. Coin for scale. The leather sheath is handmade from a single piece of vegetable tanned leather, dyed brown and held together with brass eyelets.
I'm the maker of all the knives in my shop, not an importer or retailer. I have been forging knives since 2017. My knives are made and listed individually, so you can buy with confidence knowing you will get exactly the item shown. The knives I sell are carbon steel, not stainless. If they have extended exposure to moisture they will rust. Knives should be kept oiled and stored in a dry place. Do not store knives in a leather sheath.
All sizes in the listing titles are approximate overall lengths. For a more detailed overall length, and the blade length, see the individual listing description. If measurements aren't listed (I.E. an item made in batches, with multiple items under one heading) feel free to message me.
Sheaths are only included with knives when specified in the listing. If a sheath is not mentioned, no sheath is included.

Knife appears to be of great quality just like all of the others I have purchased. The tang is a bit small from my hands and the sheaths belt loop is a bit small for my belt as well so I wont be able to utilize it as intended unfortunately.
